Your Path. Our offerings provide flexibility for students—whether majors, minors, or those taking a single course—to develop their passions in performance, composition, or topics in music history and culture.

Other Areas of Study. Take cross-listed courses that connect music to Psychology, History, Media Studies, Art, Theater and Dance, Environmental Studies, and Critical Identity Studies.

Your Major. Take lessons, classes, and ensembles with any major.

Athletics. Play both music and sports.

Community.  Find like-minded peers and make friends.

The music department serves all students—majors and non-majors, listeners, performers, scholars, risk-takers, and creators.
